Play Klang first began as a youth hostel and was awarded a 9.9 Guest Review Award by Booking.com in 2018.After the pandemic, we transformed into a cultural café, while still keeping a few beds to welcome travelers and small groups from around the world.

C³ stands for Cube (multi-functional space), as well as Culture, Creativity & Connection.

Here, you can drink coffee, enjoy meals, share stories, play games, read, and rest — all while experiencing the unique rhythm of Klang inside a century-old heritage building.

🎟️ How to qualify for the Free Stay?

Only available to Klang Ambassador Pass holders
Spend RM60 or more to enjoy a free night’s stay (in shared dormitory beds; room type cannot be chosen)

Alternatively, you may support with a Klang Starter Pack (RM15), which includes:

  • We are, first and foremost, a cultural café with accommodation, not a conventional hostel or hotel.
  • Check-in time is between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Our reception and café close at 6:00 PM, and we are unable to accommodate check-ins after this time.
  • We value the quality of experience for both our guests and our team. We hope this unique rhythm allows you to enjoy a slower, more intentional way of exploring Klang.
  • If you require 24-hour reception or late-night check-in, we recommend choosing other accommodations that better suit your needs. Either way, we wish you a comfortable and pleasant journey in Klang.
