After taking you on a food adventure through Berkeley’s Crazy Foodie streets in our previous post, this time we’re heading into Klang town centre to explore unique spaces transformed from old residential homes and experience the many different sides of everyday life in Klang!

A unique residential space that combines a vegetarian restaurant, homestay, and event venue, it has been operating for over 10 years. 客家主题餐厅，楼上是可参观的客家会馆，有许多复古摆设可拍照打卡；楼下则贩售各种客家料理，如擂茶、算盘子等，是体验客家文化的好去处！
A Hakka-themed restaurant with a Hakka association hall upstairs that is open for visitors, featuring plenty of vintage décor and photo-worthy spots. Downstairs, you can enjoy a variety of traditional Hakka dishes, such as Lei Cha and Abacus Seeds. It’s a great place to experience and immerse yourself in Hakka culture!
巴生网红住家式肉骨茶店，浓郁药材汤是他们家的灵魂，加入鱿鱼丝、辣椒干、羊角豆爆炒的干肉骨茶，锅气十足！
A popular home-style Bak Kut Teh spot in Klang, this place is known for its rich herbal broth, which is the soul of the restaurant. Their dry Bak Kut Teh, stir-fried with shredded squid, dried chillies, and okra, is packed with wok hei and bursting with flavor!

Changing the scene, this isn’t a hotel it’s actually a traditional Nyonya kuih shop! Home to handmade favourites such as Ang Ku Kuih, Chwee Kueh, and Kuih Kembang, the shop stands out with its eye-catching facade. You may even spot a Nyonya kuih food truck parked outside from time to time, carrying three generations of traditional flavours and heritage!

A truly hidden gem of a café, with a completely black exterior that gives little away. Step inside and you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to a classic European setting. Their hand-brewed coffee is definitely best enjoyed fresh in the café, while their signature Hibiscus Coffee is also one of Klang’s unique specialties!

Amidst all the food spots, Klang town centre is also home to a Chinese temple featuring distinctive onion-shaped domes on its roof. The temple uniquely brings together Tua Pek Kong and Datuk Gong, making it one of Klang’s most distinctive religious landmarks.

Behind Klang Lian He Temple, you’ll find two long-established food spots that have been neighbours for more than 40 years. One is Anwar Tho, a Chinese Muslim-run eatery famous for its pork-lard-free Hokkien noodles, while the other specialises in crispy fried Ngoh Hiang. Together, they have helped turn this area into a popular dinner destination in Klang.The sight of people from different ethnic backgrounds dining together is truly one of the most beautiful scenes in the heart of Klang.
因让道 LRT3 发展而被拆除的巴生桔榔小贩中心，是几代人的集体记忆。如今，新吉榔京记四果汤、林茂街五香与国香鸡饭等老字号再度聚首于巴生市中心，延续古早味。特色飞机水，源自当年滨华中学的学生代号，Only in Klang！
The Klang Emporium Makan Hawker Center , which was demolished to make way for the LRT3 development, holds cherished memories for generations of Klang residents. Today, old-school favourites such as New Meru King Kee Four Fruits Soup, Lin Mao Street Ngoh Hiang, and Kwok Heong Chicken Rice have reunited in Klang town centre, keeping their traditional flavours alive.The iconic “Airplane Water” gets its name from a code used by students of Hin Hua High School back in the day. Only in Klang!
这家族故事，从老字号城安药材店说起，女儿为了延伸品牌开创了文太太凉茶，一瓶瓶便携文青式凉茶符合现代年轻人口味，而二楼则由姐姐开创别具一格的理发店A+B，大家同在一栋老店内经营，也是巴生市中心百貌之一。
This family story begins with the long-established Seng Onn Chinese Medicine Hall. To carry on and expand the family brand, the daughter started Mun Taitai, offering bottled herbal drinks in a stylish, modern design that suits the tastes of younger generations.Upstairs, her sister runs A+B, a uniquely styled hair salon. With different family businesses operating under the same old shop house, this is yet another fascinating side of the diverse lifestyle found in Klang town centre.
这不是老字号，却是巴生大企业QL引进的全家便利商店，算是巴生最早的独栋Family Mart，因氛围仿如置身日本街头而曾在网络一度爆红。
This isn’t a long-established local business, but rather a FamilyMart outlet introduced by Klang-based major company QL. It is considered one of the earliest standalone FamilyMart outlets in Klang. Its atmosphere, reminiscent of a street corner in Japan, once made it go viral online.
