Klang’s old backstreets are one of the few places where many traditional Chinese trades still thrive — from glass and mirror shops, watch repair stores, and Teochew porridge stalls to the birthplace of the world-famous Bak Kut Teh. What makes this street truly beautiful is the unwavering dedication of these fading trades, making it feel as though time has turned back to the days when early Chinese immigrants first arrived in Malaya.
The weathered old town is adorned with over 20 crow murals created by local artists, each telling the story behind Klang’s nickname, the “City of Crows.” It’s also a perfect spot for photos and sightseeing.

Hidden on the second floor of Black Stone, this handmade craft gallery brings together creations from 100 local artisans, making it a wonderful place to find unique souvenirs and gifts.

No visit to Klang is complete without experiencing the famous Bak Kut Teh under the bridge. This legendary heritage eatery has become a familiar name to generations, carrying with it the timeless flavours and memories of Klang.

A famous breakfast spot in Klang, this restaurant once operated a hotel upstairs. Today, the only reminder left is the vintage key rack at the counter, yet it remains a bustling breakfast destination loved by many.

Beyond its famous street art, Klang’s old town hides another mural street where 101 wild animals come to life on the walls. As night falls, it transforms into a “nighttime zoo,” and when the rain arrives, it takes on the charm of a “water zoo.” No matter the weather, this street always reveals a different side of its beauty.
A little further away from the old town, this charming afternoon tea café was transformed from a traditional Klang residence. Its signature Teh Halia connects the tea culture of the Malay and Indian communities with the everyday rhythm of local life, offering a unique taste of Klang’s multicultural heritage.
